memorable, and high-quality player experience.
Background and experience
- University student in architecture or similar fields
- Strong interest or background in game design, puzzles and storytelling.
- Organized, methodical, and able to translate abstract ideas into tangible designs.
- Clear communicator with strong leadership and collaboration skills.
- Passionate about immersive experiences, player psychology, and gamification.
- Familiarity with 3d modeling (Rhinoceros), drafting (autocad) and graphic design software (adobe suite) and physical prototyping and maintenance
- 3D printing knowledge is a plus
- Highly creative with a structured, logical approach to problem-solving.
- Hands-on builder and tinkerer.
- Curious, fun-loving, and detail-oriented.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop overarching narratives and themes for all escape rooms, outdoor games, trivia, and board game projects.
- Work closely with the engineering-focused Game Designer to align creative vision with technical feasibility.
- Take charge of the design and construction project management for all escape room projects
- Coordinate between all stake holders for the completion of the project (game design team, game masters, suppliers and contractors)
- Take charge of props construction & Maintenance to ensure physical elements support gameplay and storytelling.
- Design full-game experiences, including puzzles, flow, narrative, and physical layout.
- Collaborate with the game design team on build-outs and installations.
- Continuously evaluate, maintain and improve existing room performance and condition
- Develop engaging outdoor escape games within our design framework
- Design original board games for in-house use or public sale.
- Write and structure trivia competitions (questions, rounds, scoring systems).
- Prototype and playtest all games before launch.
- Prepare game design documentation and schematics.
- Collaborate on budget planning for materials and prototyping.
- Stay up to date on game trends, puzzle mechanics, and industry innovations.
